FC&S Withdraws From Texas Homeowners’ and Dwelling Fire Market
Effective September 1, 2010, FCS will no longer issue new or renewal homeowners’ insurance policies in Texas. FC&S policyholders should contact their insurance agent for assistance in locating another suitable insurance carrier. Another helpful resource is www.helpinsure.com, a free service of the Texas Department of Insurance and the Office of Public Insurance Counsel.
